As the United Methodist Church prepares to deal with some crucial issues, it is important to teach/remind the members of our congregation about who we are as United Methodists and about our Methodist/Wesleyan heritage.  Whether you have no idea what our Methodist heritage is or whether you simply need a refresher about United Methodist beliefs and practices, this two-session workshop is for you.  This course is about the basics of Methodist history; doctrine and beliefs; organization and governance; social principles and social creed; worship and sacraments; and discipleship, spiritual gifts, and service opportunities at St. Paul.  This workshop will be offered on Sunday afternoons on November 18 and 25 from 3:00 to 5:30 P.M. and will be led by Bob Bryant in Room B133.  A sign-up sheet is on the first table in the social hall.
