Children's Ministry at
St. Paul UMC
Our littlest ones are part of our community and our future church!
"Let the children come to me..."
At St. Paul UMC, we are called to teach our children to know God’s love for them and grow in faith through understanding Jesus Christ in a safe, loving and joyful environment.
Children's Moment
During the Sunday morning worship service in the sanctuary, we have a special time for children with a special message for all the young and young at heart.
Children's Church
Following the Children’s Moment, Sunday School teachers lead the children from the sanctuary to Children’s Church where children (preschool through fifth grade) have a Bible lesson and participate in fun activities.
The children are returned to the sanctuary before the end of the worship service.
Visitors are always welcome!
Toddler and Infant Care
The nursery for children who are three years old or younger is on the main level between the sanctuary and fellowship hall.
We have a fully equipped nursery with experienced care providers; cribs; changing table; rockers; and, of course, TOYS! Care is complimentary for parents and guardians as they attend Sunday School and the worship service.
The nursery is open from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Safe Sanctuaries
St. Paul is committed to keeping all our members safe — our children, in particular. We take the safety and well-being of children very seriously here at St. Paul.
All of our volunteers on the Children’s Ministry Team must pass background checks, and we follow guidelines requiring two non-related individuals providing care at any time. These and other safety measures are part of our Safe Sanctuaries® policy.
